We have some great sporting activities at our club in both the Summer and Winter. New members are welcome.
Bayshore Golf League
Hello Golfers, Bayshore Golf Season is just around the corner,& registration is available on the Orr Lake Golf website. You can also pay your annual dues when you register. Golf is a fun & safe way to get out, see friends from a safe distance & play a fun round of golf. We are looking forward to reconnecting with golfers, old and new. See you on the course!
Our relaxed and fun mixed golf league takes place at the friendly Orr Lake Golf Club on Thursday mornings. This is a great opportunity to meet new people as we mix up 60 plus players weekly so everyone gets to know each other. We kick it off with a meeting the last Thursday of April at 9:30am where you can learn more and register. Our weekly play starts the 1st Thursday of May with players arriving at 8:15am to get ready for the 9am shotgun start. There is a points system we use to keep everything fair, a BBQ mid season and an end of season banquet with prizes. The cost to register is $70 and includes everything except your golf. You can even pre-register by CLICKING HERE
Ladies Mini Putt League
For those ladies who do not want to venture out onto the BIG course we have our mini-putt league which takes place at Pedro’s in Wasaga Beach on Tuesday mornings at 8:30am. This league typically has about 75 ladies and includes 4 luncheons throughout the season and runs from May until September. For more information you can email firstname.lastname@example.org
Come out and have some fun playing Table Tennis or Ping Pong with our Bayshore members on Tuesday mornings at 10am. Everyone is welcome, this is a mixed group and no experience is necessary.!
This activity takes place on Wednesday mornings at 9am from October to May. The meeting is opened with discussion relating to our personal health and welfare. Following this, there is an exercise program which includes chair exercises for some members and a video workout for others. Guest speakers are invited throughout the season. Usually the topics are related to health concerns or community services available to seniors. This group is about staying healthy and active.
