St Patrick’s GM – Mark the date on your Calendar!
March 14th at 2:00 pm is our next General Meeting – celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. You might feel like you wearing green.
Last month you came up with great ideas for activities – let’s discuss some. Join the meeting to hear what we are proposing for our Operating and Special Grant money for April 1st, 2023, to March 31st, 2024 and see if you agree. We will discuss each item we requested for our $15,000.00 wish list for the following year. If we have a quorum, we can vote.
We need YOU to help us move forward with decisions.
Through February and March, the Elmvale and Wasaga Beach Food Banks are looking for: Canned Potatoes, Cream Corn, Cream of Chicken Soup, Canned Stew, Canned Chili, Canned Meat – canned Chicken, Kidney Beans, Jam, Soda Biscuits, Cookies, Cake Mixes, Pudding Mix, Drinking Boxes and Green and Yellow Beans. Bay Shore will donate half of our “Share the Wealth” to the Food Bank.
Thank you for your anticipated support.

Peggy Brown’s 67 year old son; Bob Brown
I just heard today from a dear friend of Peggy’s that her son passed away suddenly this morning. Peggy has been struggling with illnesses of her own and having a rough time of late, so we’ve missed her in crafts at the Club. We don’t have much information at this point; however, we will send it along as soon as we do.
We at Bay Shore wish you Peggy sincere condolences and hope better days await.

Do You Have An Extra Car to Borrow?

My brother and his wife are coming home from Thailand for about six weeks. He will be arriving somewhere around June 4th to 7th, returning mid-July. He is looking for a car that he might be able to borrow for this time frame. He wants to pay you $1000 – $1500 for the six weeks. Any maintenance that arises while he is using it, within reason, he will pay for.
Thank you for your consideration.

Terrific Games Afternoon

What a great afternoon! We had over 35 members show up today to play darts, bid-euchre, pool, ping pong and a very exciting “train” game. Loads of fun, laughs and comradery with our friends at Bay Shore.
The afternoon was so enjoyable; we are discussing having more, maybe once a month, probably on a Tuesday afternoon.
Congratulations, Sue and Terry!

Shuffleboard Moving Up to 1:00 pm Fridays

As Pickleball is moving to Fridays at 4:00, Shuffleboard is moving their start time to 1:00 pm from 1:30. This way it gives Shuffleboard lots of time to be finished, and out of the room before our Pickleballers come in at 4:00.
Thank you for your anticipated positive response to the move.
