Woodland Beach Community Church
The Woodland Beach Community Church will open again this Sunday, May 22nd, 2022. It is a seasonal non-denominational Christian church that offers services each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. from the Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving.
The church is a short drive or walk from Bay Shore south to 2071 Tiny Beaches Road South.

Protect Pristine Groundwater in Elmvale
We Need YOUR HELP!
Ancient deposits under the Simcoe Uplands in Ontario’s Tiny, Springwater, Oro-Medonte and Tay townships contain pristine groundwater; First Nations have long used this water in what is now the territory of Beausoleil First Nation of the Ogemawahj Tribal Council and Williams Treaties First Nations.
Simcoe and the thousands of people who enjoy this pure water are asking for help in preventing the contamination of what has been proven to be the ‘cleanest water known in the world and “cleaner than Arctic Ice”. Many of you will remember how we fought the County and won against dump site 41 being constructed over these waters.
Now we are facing the expansion and/or washing of gravel & further excavation by Dufferin Construction & The Sargeant Co. going below the water table & threatening the purity of this water.
Many of us are enjoying that water from the kiosk just outside of Elmvale, north on Hwy. 27. Several of our residents/farmers wells are dependent on that water & some are already being affected.

Music Jam is cancelled for two (2) weeks
Music Jam is cancelled for the next two weeks, Monday, May 23rd and Monday, May 30th, as Cathy is on holiday. The music will start up again Monday, June 6th, 2022, @ noon.

Shuffleboard will be closed this Friday, May 20th, so we can set up for Harry Regu’s Celebration of Life being held Saturday, May 21st at 2:00 pm.

Darts are Finished Until September
Due to the small number of Dart players last week, the sub-convenor Norm has decided to close down Darts until September.

Pole Walking is Back
Pole Walking is back for our Bay Shore members Friday, May 20th, 2022 @ 10:00 am. We are moving to Elmvale Heritage Park. It’s the park just before the town of Elmvale, on your left if driving into Elmvale from the Club.

VON SMART Exercise is on the Moving…
VON SMART Exercise is on the move. They are now moving to Mondays @ 2:30 starting this Monday, the 16th, with our same instructor Dawna Proudman.
Now that’s a time that might work for me! Hopefully, I’ll see you there!
