We Have Room to add YOU to Chair Yoga!
Everyone who has been attending our Chair Yoga classes love them. We have a few members who thought they wouldn’t come out for anything, gave it a try and are pleased they did.
Great news! We have room to add YOU to our class. If you were wanting to join the group, and we had a limit on our numbers, now you can. There are three sessions left Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am. And you will be able to pick it up on your first time out.

Register OnLine for Bay Shore Golf at Orr Lake
If you are interested in joining Bay Shore Seniors’ Orr Lake Golf and you missed registration at Orr Lake, you can register online at orrlakegolfclub.com. The league fee is $70, which covers weekly prizes, monthly events and the closing banquet.
Green fees are extra. All levels of golfers are welcome.
We had a tremendous turnout at registration. This year promises to be a great summer of Golf.
Did You Say It’s Time To Register For Mini Putt?
Yes, the time has finally arrived. After waiting two years, we can get back to our favourite outdoor game. Even more exciting news: Pedro’s has upgraded its course. We think you will be impressed.
We are having a registration meeting Saturday, May 14th at 10:00 am at Bay Shore Seniors’ Club. Anyone interested in playing this summer, please join the discussion. Bring your questions, enthusiasm and chequebook so you don’t get left behind.
If you are attending the General Meeting Tuesday, May 10th, at 2:00 pm, you can register at that time once the meeting is finished.

Gary Priest’s Celebration of Life
Gary Richard Priest left this world peacefully and is now in Heaven ‘making noise and sawdust’ because they needed a new bench, with his wife of 33 years, Jean, and daughter Heather by his bedside, at Campbell House Hospice in his 80th year after a long fight with Pemphigus Vulgaris (a dreadful autoimmune disease) on December 27, 2021.
Gary’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 14th, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at Wasaga Meadows pavilion.
Bay Shore Seniors Club contributes to Gary’s memory by having a plaque put on our beautiful “Lending Library” that he designed and built for us. It was such a pleasure getting to know Gary and his wild sense of humour.

Our Health “A Good Life includes a Good Death.”
In 1789, Benjamin Franklin wrote: “…in this world; nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.” What will always be uncertain is WHEN, HOW and WHERE death will occur.
The recent pandemic has caused many of us to confront our mortality and that of older, frail loved ones. This has started necessary if somewhat tricky conversations about end-of-life considerations. Sadly, sometimes the exchange never happens.
Our three caring and compassionate panellists strive to ensure ‘good deaths’ for those in their care who are close to the end of life. They are all committed to the goal of death with dignity and providing meaningful support for surviving loved ones.
Join us at Bay Shore Seniors Club on May 12, 2022, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. This topic has been well researched, and Our Health’s goal is to provide options for end-of-life planning and a focal point for family discussions.

Please join us at LifeStyles on Wednesday, May 11th at 9:30 to welcome Bonnie Neely of the Seniors Wish Foundation in Barrie. These are the people who were responsible for providing us with the 25 beautiful gift donations at Christmas last year.
All members are welcome for coffee and snacks at 9:00. Our guest speaker will start at 9:30.
