Anniversary Tea just around the Corner!
Our Anniversary Tea is fast approaching! This is a time to celebrate our history and contemplate our future.
We are looking for three or four members to be part of a committee working together in selecting a caterer and making plans to make this significant date a wonderful celebration. We haven’t chosen a date for our Anniversary Tea. The date hasn’t been determined. It could be Saturday, April 22nd, or Saturday, April 29th, around 2:00 pm – that’s up to YOU! We are looking forward to hearing your ideas!

PickleBall & Line Dancing News
Line Dancing is a go! We have approximately 15 members who have shown an interest. I look forward to seeing you in the Main Hall Tuesday, January 24th, at 11:00 am.
Pickleball has changed their days. They are cancelling Mondays and going to Fridays. As of Friday, January 20th, Pickleball will play Wednesdays and Fridays at 4:00 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 pm.

I am so pleased that we can offer Basic Line Dancing Tuesday, January 24th, from 11:00 – 12:00 pm on a trial basis taught by Katy Austin. Thanks Executive For the Day
Thank you to our Board of Directors for a job well done today. Organizing and setting up our Volunteer Luncheon and getting information ready for our General Meeting right after. We even dealt with an issue in the washroom and had a plumber resolve it quickly and efficiently. It made for a long day. Great job!
I’d also like to thank June Craggs for getting Helen and Renate here without them knowing what was happening. Lynn for creating a fun game for us, and Sandy for letting Nica in yesterday morning and helping her clean up the kitchen.

Good bye to Christmas for Another Year!
Thank you, Sue, Cathy, Sandy, Lynn and Lorri, for helping take down Christmas. It’s always sad to see it go for another year. It goes so quickly. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.
The Club
Volunteer Luncheon, Food Bank & GM
Our luncheon is almost here. Lunch will be served at noon, so try to get here by 11:30 – 11:45 Tuesday, January 10th. We also have our “Volunteer of the Year” award to be given out.
Food Bank needs peanut-free school snacks and juice boxes. Hamburger Helper, large packages of pasta noodles like macaroni, not spaghetti and cereal. Please help us support them by bringing some of these items in.
General Meeting will be held at 2:00 pm after our luncheon. I hope you can stick around.

Pickleball Anyone!
Now that we are back indoors to play Pickleball, our next game will be on Sunday @ 2:00 pm, January 8th, 2023.
You’ll need to sign up, so we know how many people will play on any given day. We play Sundays @ 2:00 pm, Mondays @ 4:00 pm, and Wednesdays at 4:30 pm. Kevin has provided a Youtube video for you to follow on how to sign up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hh6TSLCAckM.

Calling All Tele-Pals (Phone Callers)
Hello, it’s Lorri calling from Bay Shore. How are you doing these days? I miss our phone conversations!
I’d like to know how many of our phone callers are interested in continuing to call their phone list. At Christmas, we asked you to let us know how many members are still on your list and if they are still interested in getting a call. We only heard about changes to your list from two or three. Please give them a call and let Sandy 705-518-0078 know who is still interested in receiving a call from you and whether you are interested in continuing to call.
During our last General Meeting, some members wanted this back. Once we know where you are, we will go through the roaster and find out if any of our newer members would like to be called for updates, news of member passing, etc.
If this can be taken care of as soon as possible, we can clean up our list.
