Bay Shore Seniors’Golf League is Starting Up
Golfers, spring is around the corner and the Golf League will soon be up and running.
League fees are $70 + Green Fees.
Weekly prizes, monthly events and closing tournaments are included in your League fee.

Kitchen Now Open for Coffee and Tea
Three weekends, and three additional afternoons later Marilyn Lester, Sandy Baker and their many helpers Helen Manion (who was amazing to watch get up and down), Judy Cabell, Dee and Gord Colton, Bill and Sheila Brown, Barb and Ray McMaster, Sue Millington, Rose Balcom, Sharon Buchy, Cathy McDonald and Lorri Watson, along with some new members Ron Skelly, Willi Menzies, Lynn Davis, and Sherry Martin have cleaned ALL the dishes, cupboards and drawers in the kitchen. Marilyn loved opening them all and marvelling at how wonderful they looked.
Not only that, but Marilyn and Sandy cleaned up everything laying around in the lounge and have taken items to be donated, or thrown out. What a tremendous job that was done by all.
Now that the kitchen is clean we can serve coffee and tea. Cookies will be coming shortly. Please, we can’t say it enough…

Travellers Update and Questionnaire

The Key to the Office is No Longer Available
The KEY will no longer be available in the Utility Room.
The office hours are from 12:00 – 3:00 pm – Tuesday through Friday.
Cleaning the Utility Room
We have almost had a couple of accidents with people trying to get into this room.
We are, therefore, planning to clean it.
Any items you want to salvage, move them into crafts for the time being in the general area of the exit door.
We will be going in early next week to throw out and clean up.

Our Library Is Now Open
June Craggs, Renate Koenig and Claude Richardson have finished cleaning and sorting our library. They have removed all our old books to make room for new ones. And, all books are reachable. They have removed the books from the top shelves.
We now have lots of large print books, along with regular print. The library is on the honour system – members only can drop in, browse at their leisure and take a book or two home. Once read, return it. If you have any new ones you’ve finished reading laying around, help us replenish by bringing them in. If you have older paperbacks, put them in our Lending Library.
There is a book for everyone.
All we ask is that you consider the Pool players – they play Tuesdays and Fridays from 10 – 12 pm.

Nordic Pole Walking
Nordic Pole Walking is on hold until the weather improves.
As soon as we know, we will let you know.

Take Caution when walking in the Parking Lot at Bay Shore!
The parking lot has become very dangerous from the icy conditions until the temperature changes.
Bill will pick up more ice melter tomorrow, and we will find salt for the larger areas.
In the meantime, please be extra careful!
