News About Ladies Mini Putt
Once again, this year, Bayshore will offer the Ladies’ Mini-Putt at a new location: the Wasaga 500 Mini-Putt.
When: Tuesdays From May 21st till August 27th
Cost: $40.00 registration fee, plus $7.00 weekly
Registration: Will be held at the club. Please bring cash
April 23rd from 2pm till 3pm

VON Exercise Closed Friday
VON Exercise, along with Shuffleboard and Wood Carving, is also cancelled on Good Friday, March 29th, as the Club honours the religious holiday.

Trip to see the Peking Acrobats
Just a friendly reminder to those who are going on the trip to see the Peking Acrobats this coming Wednesday, March 27, 2024.
***For those bringing a walker, please advise Susan, who will be at the Hall, and Debbie in Elmvale. Sanderson Centre has asked us to attach a tag with information on it, as we will need to do this before the walker is placed under the bus.
If you are leaving from Bay Shore, please arrive at 7:45 am or earlier to register and pick up your show tickets. The bus will leave at 8:00 am.
If you are leaving from the Elmvale Community Hall, please arrive between 7:45 and 8:00 am, as I will need to get to your car and give you your tickets.
The bus will wait ONLY 5 minutes past the departure time for anyone late.
Our 49th Anniversary Tea
Our 49th Anniversary Tea is fast approaching. The date is Saturday, April 20th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are now available at the Club. They are $5.00 refundable upon attendance at the event. You can purchase your tickets any time, Tuesday through Friday, between 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.
The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, April 19th, 2024.
SUCCESSFUL CONNECT LUNCHEON
Our “Connect Luncheon” yesterday was a huge success. We had nine new members and couldn’t have asked for a more engaging group. They contributed so much.
We learned a lot about one another, and they exchanged phone numbers. They suggested a Preferred Contractor’s List, which we’ve been trying to create for a while, with only one member offering a contractor. Now, we have about five or six from Scott and a few more from other new members. They were enthusiastic about sponsorship, our 50th Anniversary, and volunteering suggestions.
Lynn made an excellent homemade light lunch with dessert. They loved the little touches, such as writing a personal note to each one of them on handcrafted cards from Marg Robertson, their Bay Shore pen, and information on the Club.
These members have not only connected but have made some new friendships.
Congratulations, Lynn and Lorri, for finding a way to make our new members feel inclusive.

We are excited to inform you that Pickleball is getting busier each week.
We are so busy we will open two more time slots to accommodate you. In doing so, you need to follow a few rules.
Registration for play is required.
Two-time slots for Friday and Sunday play are available, with a maximum of 8 players per time slot.
If the first-time slot fills, don’t hesitate to sign in for the second session. Two things will likely happen: 1) others will be encouraged to sign up, and 2) there will always be some players willing to stay on to play more games.
New Time Slots:
Wednesdays
1st Time Slot: 4:00 – 5:30 pm
2nd Time Slot: 5:30 – 7:00 pm
Fridays
1st Time Slot: 3:30 – 5:00 pm *note change in start time to 3:30 pm.
2nd Time Slot: 5:00 – 6:30 pm
Sundays
1st Time Slot: 2:00 – 3:30 pm
2nd Time Slot: 3:30 – 5:00 pm
