Congratulations to Nadine and Lynn for pulling together a fun, successful community event! Along with Toni helping with the dogs!
There was laughter, member and non member engagement and an overall good vibe in the room.
Nadine it was a nice mix of activity and social time and a great way to learn more about each other. Looking forward to the next one!!!

As summer is fast approaching, I should ask what your plans are regarding closing down your activity for the summer.
- Are you shutting down for the Summer?
- If so, what date?
- Do you know when you are starting up again in September?
- If so, what date?
- Are you staying open through the summer (June through August)?
- Is there any change to your schedule? i.e.…. Example: Not playing on Tues, just Fri.
- Pickleball: Are any of your time slots not being used through June?

- Sherri from the Butler’s Pantry and Tasting Room in Elmvale – high-grade olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You haven’t tried great olive oil until you’ve tried theirs.
- Limore spoke about “Being Your Best Self…. 3 myths and 3 truths really resonating with a number of us.
- Lynn introduced us to “Laughter Yoga”. Amazing how it makes you feel. It really is something to experience.
Had a delicious lunch of sandwiches and pasta salad, with numerous delicious desserts.
Then we were set free to explore and be treated with: Tarot Reading with Mike & Patricia Ziziss; Henna by Sudha; Hand Massage by Caroline Eden, Professional Nail Polish application by Brittany and Abby from KayBee Studios; Stacy from Arbonne Cosmetics, and Reiki by Mary and Beverley.
Lynn put her extra special touch on everything which made it feel it WAS ALL ABOUT US!
Also, a big thank you to Doug for being our photographer, and a special thank you to Nadine and Anita for their incredible help.

Air Conditioner
I have had a few complaints about the A/C being on. I know some of our activities need more cooling. First, leave the doors open before the flies start, then close them when finished.
If that doesn’t work and it’s too hot to play, turn on the A/C during your activity. BUT PLEASE TURN IT OFF WHEN FINISHED.
In the summer months, we need to keep the doors closed due to the flies. For Bingo, you could have a volunteer outside to open the door for the community.
