Members get your name in to the office, along with your $10.00 to hold a space for yourself at the Trunk Sale.

We have 26 spots, of which we want to give our members 1st choice. Then we will open to the community.

Jean Steenhuis’ Passing

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of Jean Steenhuis, Friday, June 26th at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood.

Jean and her husband Larry were original residents of Clover Crescent, when the homes were built, and Jean was one of the Greeters for the Wasaga Meadows Homeowners Association for several years. Both Jean and Larry were Bartenders for several years at the Bay Shore Seniors Club.

Our sincere condolences go to Larry and their family at this time.

It’s 5 o’clock Somewhere… Open Jam

And what an Open Jam it was, with over 40 members and the community attending. This time we sold more Share the Wealth than Hot Dogs… maybe because Lynn didn’t have her costume? Or probably it was “Happy Hour “. A place to get together with friends and neighbours, have a beverage and listen to some great jamming. We had 5 members of the Community get together and entertain us, I think they’ve played together before…  they were very good.

Lynn and Nadine created the event together. Nadine convened, while Lynn and Toni made hot dogs. Thank you, Lynn, Cooper (Lynn’s handsome grandson), Scott and Doug for setting up and taking down the event. We had two winners of $35 from our Share to Wealth. The second winner left early but said that if they won, they would give it to the Club… thank you!

Thank you to our members and community for making this another successful Bay Shore event…  bringing the community together. Don’t forget to check out our Bay Shore 50+ Members Facebook page to see some great photos, thanks Doug!

Congratulations Nadine and Lynn

Congratulations to Nadine and Lynn for pulling together a fun, successful community event! Along with Toni helping with the dogs!

There was laughter, member and non member engagement and an overall good vibe in the room.

Nadine it was a nice mix of activity and social time and a great way to learn more about each other. Looking forward to the next one!!!

AND; what about LYNN’S COSTUME! That was amazing.

Callling All Convenors

As summer is fast approaching, I should ask what your plans are regarding closing down your activity for the summer.

• Are you shutting down for the Summer?
• If so, what date?
• Do you know when you are starting up again in September?
• If so, what date?
• Are you staying open through the summer (June through August)?
• Is there any change to your schedule? i.e.…. Example: Not playing on Tues, just Fri.
• Pickleball: Are any of your time slots not being used through June?
